A Survey of Multiuser Detectors for CDMA/OCDMA Systems
Subscribe/Renew Journal
A survey of the literature in the field of cellular mobile communication for multiuser detection techniques is presented in this article. The third generation wireless communications systems employing Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) exhibits a user capacity limit. This user capacity limit of CDMA systems are extended by Multi-user Detection (MUD) technique that outperforms the other methods. Also, this study and review leads to a discussion on CDMA and Overloaded-CDMA (OCDMA) systems that employ linear and nonlinear detectors to cancel the multiuser interference.
