Optimal Selection of Metal Active Gas Welding Parameters in Joining High Carbon Steel: Though The AHP
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a wide employed multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) tool to solve varying decision-making problems through the process of ranking. In the present work, appropriate selection of process parameters in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of High-Carbon Steel flats is explored utilizing the AHP. Different sets of experimental runs being the alternatives, the AHP yields the best set of alternatives among them considering some criteria, thereby finding out appropriate set of process parameters to obtain sound welding.
