The development of fabrication methods and procedures at TELCO seems to represent the growth pattern of the fabrication industry in India. Telco, in the forties, used to manufacture road rollers, under carriages etc. of mostly rivetted construction. When it started manufacturing steam locomotives in 1951, welding of radio graphic quality was introduced.
