The Age of Affluence 1951-1964

The authors have analysed the trend of political, economic and social factors over the years 1951 - 1964. They have convincingly shown how these factors were reacting upon each other. The 1950's was not only an age of prosperty and achievement, but also an age of illusion, of missed opportunities.
