Fundamentals of Process Equipment Design

The subject title is a production of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In olden days, Roorkee Engineering College had its own text books. The venture of I.I.T. is a happy augury for technical students of India, who are in need of "standard" text books. The syllabi of our technical institutions are anything but uniform. It may be overlapping in many respects just as it is not standard in many respects. So, when the teachers of one institution write books, it may fail to meet the complete syllabus of another institute. How we wish this predicament to be non-existent.
