Subscribe/Renew Journal
An experiment was conducted at the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Bangalore from 1977 10 1979 to assess the response of Eucalyptus citriodora Hook to five levels of Nitrogen (0, 50,100, 150,200 kg/ha) and two methods (Soil and Soil + Foliar) of application. A dose of 120 kg/ha applied through soil was found to be optimum. Oil yield increased with increase in the herbage yield. The yield of oil and the aldehyde content in it, showed increasing trend from first to the fourth harvest.
