On Modular Forms of Weight One from Real Quadratic Fields and Theta Functions

Ramanujan was an expert in the manipulation of theta functions. In this paper, we will use theta functions to give a new derivation of Hecke's modular forms of weight one which correspond to real quadratic fields.
