Sunlight supports life on earth but excessive unprotected sunlight exposure can cause harmful effects on skin. This is mainly due to the harmful UVB radiation. Thus there is a need to protect ourselves from this unprotected exposure. This reviews the literature on anti-solar activity of herbal extracts.
