

Dexmedetomidine, the Ideal Drug for Attenuating Hemodynamic Response to Laryngoscopy and Endotracheal Intubation
Laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation in adults are commonly accompanied by increase in arterial blood pressure and heart rate. Various studies have found that dexmedetomidine attenuates haemodynamic response to laryngoscopy and intubation. Aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of intravenous dexmedetomidine in attenuating the haemodynamic responses to laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation.
