A Review of Data Fusion in WSN Routing
Subscribe/Renew Journal
A wireless ad-hoc network is a group of devices which are connected without a fixed infrastructure such as access points or base station. Due to their limited power and shorter communication range, sensor nodes perform in network data fusion. A data fusion node collects the results from multiple nodes. It fuses the result on its own based on a decision criterion & sends the fused data to another nodes or base station. One of important issues of data fusion of wireless sensor network (WSN) is necessity of using an intelligent system which can fuse heterogeneous data obtained from different sources, accurately, automatically and efficiently. This paper describe intelligent technique which is one of the important tool that is artificial neural network (ANN) model in which Variable selection (based on correlation analysis) and dimension reduction (based on principal component analysis) are used for data pre-processing. The significance of the neural network-based approach is that it can model the unknown non-linear relationship between any prior knowledge of their inherent relationship.
