It is well-known that Tuberculosis (TB) is an age-old disease; still we lag behind in its prompt diagnosis and treatment even in the 21<sup>st</sup> century. The need of the hour is ‘Rapid detection and prompt treatment of TB cases’ and also to diagnose drug resistant TB at the onset.
