Subscribe/Renew Journal
Lung cancer is one of the deadliest cancers globally and accounts for most cancer-related deaths. Lung cancer is mostly attributed to smoking even though exposure to environmental pollutants and occupational agents also contributes to its causation. Another important change noticed is the increase in the number of adenocarcinomas surpassing previously predominant squamous cell carcinoma.
