Behaviour and food preference are influenced by a wide range of factors beginning early in life. An infant's first experience with food is through the parent's chosen feeding practice and the infant's health should be of primary concern in this choice. This paper will examine the effect of infant feeding practice on behaviour and food preference, as well as other factors that influence the developmental process.
