A Mixed Method of Analysis for the Calculation of Moments in Plane Frames

Wind analysis for multistoried portal frames are very often done by well known PORTAL or CANTILEVER method. Portal method is very often used, as it is easy to calculate. The author has made a detail study of the two methods for the solution of single, two, three, four and five bays at the rate of 4 m each and with four stories in each case at the rate of 3 m.
