Flow through Porous Medium Part XI Transport of 1:1 Electrolyte Solutions in Aqueous Glucose through an Inorganic Membrane
Subscribe/Renew Journal
'Electro-osmotic and hydrodynamic flow of lithium chloride, sodium chloride and potassium chloride in aqueous glucose solutions across membrane of silicon dioxide has been studied. The membrane is characterized in terms of its dimensional characteristics and zeta-potential. The electro-osmotic data are used for estimating electro-kinetic energy conversion. Activation parameters of flow, enthalpy of activation (ΔH*) entropy of activation (ΔS*) and free energy of activation (ΔG*) have been reported.
