Drug Receptor Interaction Vis-a-Vis Alternative View of Enzyme Reactions Proposed by Dewar and Storch

An alternative view of drug receptor interaction, which is inspired by the alternative view of enzyme reaction of Dewar and Storch is proposed. It has been suggested that dehydration of receptor site should precede the interaction of drug with receptor. The dehydration step has hitherto not been considered in literature.
