Perforation Peritonitis Due to Burns - a Case Report

A 35-year-old lady of average built sustained about 68% flame burn injury at her home. She was primarily treated at her town and referred to tertiary referral center - medical college for further treatment and management. After 9 days stay in medical college hospital Nanded (M.S.; India), she developed septicemia and died. On autopsy perforation peritonitis was detected along with infected burns.
