Injuries or pain in the human musculoskeletal system, ligaments, muscles and nerves are called musculoskeletal disorders or MSDs. With the ever-increasing sophistication involved in treatment and the need of affluent precision in the field of dentistry, both patient expectations and simultaneously the time involved in procedures are increasing. This leads to prolonged muscle imbalances in the dental professionals due to awkward postures, repetitive motions, stresses, forceful exertions and various psychological factors also, resulting in stressed shortened muscle becoming ischemic and painful.
