A Note on Eucalyptus "Hybrid" as Timber
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Eucalyptus hybrid∗ was tested for its important physical and mechanical properties in green condition, at three different age levels. The wood can be classified as very heavy, hard and liable to warp and crack. It may be found suitable for packiing cases, crates, boxes, beams, columns, poles, posts and similar other items. It may not be suitable for making furniture, door or window frames. It is also observed that the tree appears to acquire the maximum strength up to the age of 13-14 years.
