Eradication of Lantana camara by Lantana Bug

Teleonemia scrupulosa Stal (Tingidae), the lantana bug, attack has been observed in Lantana camara on a fairly large scale in the neighbourhood of Bhimtal, Nainital district, killing it outright. A detailed study of the occurrence of the tingid and mortality of Lantana in this area has been suggested for biological control of Lantana.
