A Successful Journey of Fifty Years: Switchgear Testing and Development Station, Bhopal

As a member of CPRI family, the Switchgear Testing and Development Station, Bhopal has become an independent knowledge leader of high quality services, research and development. From a small entity at the beginning it has developed to cater the requirement of Testing and Certifi cation needs of Electrical Equipments manufacturers and utilities in India as well as foreign countries within fi ve decades. This article briefs about features of different STDS laboratories and their growth from the grass ischolar_main level. Some of the nostalgic memories are also shared upon.
