Special Maps on Spaces of Continuous Functions

This paper studies some special maps on the set C (X) of continuous real-valued functions defined on a Tychonoff space X. C( X) carries the epi-topology (occasionally, the compact-open topology) and the maps range from multiplicative linear functionals to induced functions and algebra homomorphisms.
